Sound familiar?

Your arms used to feel like yours.

  • Running your fingers down your forearm every morning, feeling for grit
  • Lotion that feels fine for an hour, then sandpaper again by lunch
  • The back of your hand catching on sweaters and bedsheets
  • A cardigan at the pool party, the graduation, the cruise
  • Every cream stinging since your last treatment
  • Hands tucked in your lap in every family photo

Any spot that is new, growing, bleeding or not healing needs a dermatologist, not a body oil.

The spots and the skin around them

Your dermatologist treats the spots.
Who's taking care of the rest?

Decades of sun didn't land on one spot. It landed on the whole forearm, the backs of the hands, the chest and shoulders. That skin needs care too.

Your dermatologist's job

Checked, watched and treated by a professional

Checking and treating individual spots is medical care, and it matters. Nothing on this page replaces it.

  • See your dermatologist quickly about any spot that is new or changing.

Your two-minute routine

Dry, rough and depleted, every single day

Years of sun wear down the oils and antioxidants that keep skin smooth. Most body lotions are mostly water, which evaporates, and fragrance stings. A waterless oil stays on the skin.

  • Bakuchiol smooths the look of rough, uneven texture.
  • Sea buckthorn and vitamin C replenish and protect.
A 2019 randomized, double-blind study in the British Journal of Dermatology compared bakuchiol with retinol on sun-aged skin over 12 weeks. Both improved the look of wrinkles and pigmentation; the retinol group reported more scaling and stinging.

Nobody buys a body oil for the oil. They buy it for the sundress, the held hand, and the morning check that stops being the worst part of the day.

The oil on a bathroom counter beside a watch and toothbrushes
Does arlumia treat actinic keratosis or skin spots?

No. arlumia is a cosmetic body oil. It helps rough, dry, sun-worn skin look and feel smoother and softer. It does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any skin condition, and it is not a replacement for your dermatologist. Keep every skin check, and see your dermatologist promptly about any spot that is new, growing, changing, bleeding or not healing.

When will I feel a difference?

Most people notice their skin feels softer and more comfortable within the first week or two of twice-daily use. Texture changes are gradual, so give it about eight weeks and use the journal in your free guide to track it. That is why the refund window is 90 days.

How do I use it?

After your evening shower, pump 2–3 drops per forearm onto slightly damp skin and massage in until absorbed. Cover the whole sun-exposed area: forearms, backs of hands, chest, shoulders, ears and scalp. In the morning, apply a thin layer and follow with sunscreen SPF 30+.

Can I use it during or after a dermatology treatment?

Ask your doctor first. Don't apply anything to skin that is being treated or is still healing unless your doctor says it's fine. Once healed, a gentle, fragrance-free routine is usually the most comfortable. You can keep using arlumia on the surrounding skin.

Is it greasy? Will it stain my clothes?

No. It's a light, waterless oil that absorbs in about a minute. Give it a moment before pulling on long sleeves.

What if it doesn't work for me?

You have 90 days. If you don't love how your skin feels, email us and we'll refund your order, even if the bottle is empty. See our refund policy.
